The castle vineyards at Riegersburg are among the most exclusive and gifted sites in Styria. The towering basalt rock, which enjoys an exceptionally high number of sunshine hours due to its elevated position, captures the sun’s rays magically. At night, peace descends on the castle hill and envelops the vines with its stored warmth and pampers them with radiance.
Because of the volcanic primary rock soils and the distinctive microclimate at Riegersburg, the wines produced here have a unique character.
